Rochdale Training’s March Food Bank Challenge – Let’s Make a Difference!

Dear Staff, Apprentices, and Learners,

We are excited to launch our March Food Bank Challenge in partnership with Rochdale Food Bank, and we need YOUR help to make a real impact in our local community!

Throughout March, we’re asking everyone to donate non-perishable food items to help those in need. The collection container will be placed in the breakout area for all donations – it's a simple way to give back and support people who may be struggling in our area.

The food bank is especially in need of items with good expiration dates, including:

  • Canned foods including soup, vegetables & fruits
  • Tea/Coffee
  • Pasta & rice
  • Cereals
  • Protein sources (e.g., peanut butter, canned fish, beans)
  • Toiletries

Every item counts and makes a difference. Whether it’s just one can or a few items from your cupboards, together we can make a huge impact.

The challenge is on – let’s fill that container!

Please share with your learners.

Thank you all for your generosity and support!

How Rochdale Training Kickstarted My Career

Leaving school I had no idea what to do or where to start. That’s when a family friend pointed me towards Rochdale Training, and looking back now, it was the best decision I ever made.

From the moment I stepped through their doors, I knew I was in the right place. Their Future Apprenticeship Foundation Course gave me the skills and confidence I needed to step into the workplace. I learned how to communicate effectively, work in a team, and solve problems—all skills that would later prove invaluable in my career.
