At Rochdale Training, we are committed to helping every learner unlock their potential and take the next step with confidence. We provide personalised support, expert guidance, and valuable opportunities to help you progress into further education, training, or employment. Our courses are designed to build your employability and professional skills, while helping you create a clear and achievable career plan. We offer a variety of pathways to suit different age groups and goals, including Apprenticeships (16+), Adult Short Courses (19+), and Study Programmes (16–18), ensuring there’s a route tailored to your ambitions.
All learners have access to impartial, one-to-one careers advice and guidance throughout their time with us. Your dedicated Tutor or Progress Coach will work with you to explore future education and employment options, assisting with applications for Apprenticeships, university, or work. We also provide careers workshops, mock interviews, and access to a wide range of employability resources and digital tools to help you plan your next steps. Additionally, we are proud to host Jobs Centre Plus, National Careers Service, Rochdale Council Youth Hub, and Positive Steps on-site, providing learners with up-to-date labour market information and expert guidance to make informed decisions about their future.
Our Careers Team works closely with our younger learners aged 16- 18 on the study programme learners to identify and secure relevant work placements that align with your chosen career pathway. It is our aim for every learner to complete a valuable placement experience before finishing their programme, helping to enhance your CV and strengthen future applications. Many of our learners have gone on to secure employment with local organisations following successful placements. We maintain strong partnerships with a wide range of employers across Greater Manchester, including the NHS, local authorities, charities, and private sector businesses, enabling us to offer meaningful and high-quality placement experiences.
All learners are given the opportunity to take part in employability and careers events, application workshops, and mock interviews. We regularly welcome guest speakers and industry professionals who share their experiences, insights, and job opportunities, inspiring learners to achieve their full potential.
