This course will give everyone from entry-level to level 2 the opportunity to improve their maths skills through face-to-face training at Rochdale Training. Improving maths skills can help you in your everyday life, from managing your finances or helping your children with their homework. It can also help you get a new job, get a promotion, or study for further qualifications.
The training will enable learners to access beginner and advanced maths training.
They cover different maths topics which can:
- increase your confidence with numbers
- help you use maths in everyday life, such as budgeting, cooking and gardening
- lead to accredited qualifications
- support you to progress in work or to higher levels of training
Entry Requirements:
- Candidates must be 19+
- Candidates must be a resident of Bury, Oldham, Rochdale or Tameside
- You must be committed for the full duration of the course
- Not already enrolled on any other funded course
Before joining the course, you will need to attend one of our Initial Assessment sessions.
Initial Assessment Session options for Tuesday 27th February 2024 :
Session 1:
- 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Session 2:
- 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Session 3:
1:30 pm to 3:00 pm
Session 4:
- 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
