Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Supporting the maintenance and operation of production equipment to help ensure productivity is consistently maintained. Assisting with routine inspections, Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), and basic fault finding to minimise downtime and keep production processes running efficiently.

Training

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

The candidate will attend Rochdale training one day per week on a day release to complete the apprenticeship course.

Essential qualifications

  • Maths and English grade 4 or above
