9:00am – 5:30pm (1 hour Lunch)

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, curious and keen to start a career in artwork and design within a busy creative environment.
Working as a Design Apprentice, you will support the studio team with both creative and administrative tasks. In the early stages, your focus will be on accuracy, organisation and supporting workflow processes, with opportunities to develop creative responsibilities over time.
Your duties will include:
- Carefully checking artwork files to ensure accuracy, correct formatting and quality standards
- Supporting the preparation and organisation of design files
- Assisting with studio administration and workflow tracking
- Using computer systems (including Mac systems) to manage and organise projects
- Supporting communication between team members and clients where required
- Maintaining digital filing systems and documentation
- Learning and using new software and creative tools
- Gradually developing your own creative work under supervision
As your confidence grows, you will begin contributing more creatively to projects, applying the same strong attention to detail developed in the early stages of the role.

Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

The successful candidate will complete the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
Training will include:
- Structured sessions with Rochdale Training
- Development of organisational, communication and project coordination skills
- Understanding business processes within a creative environment
- Functional Skills in Maths and English (if required)
- End Point Assessment
Requirements
Essential qualifications
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English (preferred)
- Basic IT skills
- Interest in design or creative subjects (desirable)
