Customer Service Apprentice - Lee Spring

 

 

Lee Spring is a busy spring manufacturer and distributor, based in Rochdale. Established as a manufacturer for over 20 years, it is part of a global spring making company based in New York. There are two branches of the company: one is a catalogue-based spring manufacturer and the second is a bespoke spring solution service, working exclusively to customer specifications and offering a design service to solve engineering problems.

Description

As an apprentice among the Customer Services Team, you will learn how to become the primary point of contact between Lee Spring Limited and its customers. You will process customer orders and provide a high level of customer service when dealing with enquiries and issues.

Core Responsibilities to learn:

· Entering customer sales orders in accordance with quoted lead times and customer deadlines.

· Assisting customers to find the products they are looking for, from our standard ranges.

· Answering queries from customers and resolving customer complaints.

· Ensure dispatch and shipping of products is in line with customer deadlines.

· Maintain and manage customer files and databases.

· Display the highest level of verbal and written communication to customers.

· Coordinate with all departments to ensure the quality of service to customers.

General Responsibilities to learn:

· Maintaining a high degree of professionalism, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

· Focus on customer service ‘Best Practice’ at all times.

· Adherence to the Sales Office ‘Code of Conduct’ and quality policies.

· Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with company and legislative standards at all times

· Take reasonable care of both your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions, ensuring all company safety and quality systems are followed and all relevant legislation complied with, raising concerns and reporting any incidents or suggestions to your Customer Service Supervisor.

Qualifications 

· GCSE or equivalent Maths and English · Grade 5 or above
