Business Administrator Apprentice

Summary

We are seeking a motivated and creative Administrator/Business Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in digital marketing, gain hands-on experience, and develop a wide range of skills across various aspects of marketing. As an apprentice, you’ll work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and team to execute marketing campaigns, analyse performance data, and help grow the company’s online presence.

Monday to Friday

9am – 5pm

Hours will be confirmed at the interview however the initial hours are 37.5

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

1. Content Creation & Social Media:

• Assist in creating engaging content for social media, blogs, and email campaigns.

• Schedule and publish posts on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with followers.

2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

• Conduct keyword research to optimize website content.

• Help improve website rankings through on-page and off-page SEO strategies.

• Analyze and report on website traffic and performance using tools like Google Analytics.

3. Email Marketing:

• Assist with designing and sending email campaigns.

• Help grow email lists and track campaign success through open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

4. Paid Advertising:

• Support the creation and management of online ad campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).

• Track the effectiveness of paid campaigns and suggest improvements.

5. Market Research:

• Research competitors, trends, and audience behavior.

• Provide insights to inform marketing strategies and decisions.

6. Reporting & Analytics:

• Assist in compiling data and creating reports to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.

Present findings and suggest areas for improvement.

The apprentice will be based at Rochdale Training full-time for the first 6 months attending Diodes site multiple times throughout the first year. 

Requirements

Essential qualifications

  • GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4 and above) essential

Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.

Skills

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing tools.

  • A basic understanding of SEO, PPC, or content marketing is a plus.

  • Experience using tools like Canva, Google Analytics, or similar is beneficial
