Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
We’re looking for a Business Administrator who is organised, reliable and able to keep things running smoothly day-to-day. The role is quite varied, so you’ll need to be comfortable handling different tasks and supporting the team whenever needed. You’ll be dealing with emails, phone calls, updating systems, preparing documents and keeping our records accurate. You’ll also help arrange meetings, manage paperwork and make sure everything is up to date. Good IT skills and attention to detail are really important, as a lot of the role involves using our systems and keeping things organised. A big part of this job is communication. You’ll be speaking with staff, customers and other companies, so you need to be friendly, professional and able to deal with queries in a calm, helpful way. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, can manage their own workload and doesn’t mind getting stuck in. Experience in admin is useful, but what matters most is being organised, willing to learn and having a positive attitude. If you like keeping things in order, enjoy helping others and want a role where every day is a bit different, this could be a great fit for you.
