About the Role – Engineering Mentor

We’re looking for someone with a background in engineering who’s ready to inspire and guide the next generation of apprentices.

As an Engineering Mentor, you’ll:

Support learners on their apprenticeship journey, from their first day to their End Point Assessment.
Visit employers to carry out progress reviews and provide tailored support.
Give constructive feedback that helps learners grow in confidence and ability.
Work alongside our friendly workshop team and employer partners to set clear, achievable goals.
Promote equality, diversity, and a safe, supportive learning environment.

Every day, you’ll be making a difference by encouraging learners to believe in themselves and reach their full potential.

About You

This role would suit someone who has:

Completed an Engineering Apprenticeship.
A passion for supporting others (a teaching/assessing qualification is a bonus but not essential – we’ll support the right person to develop).
Great communication skills and the ability to build relationships with learners and employers alike.
A positive, encouraging approach – you’ll be the mentor who believes in learners until they believe in themselves.
