We are a Dry-Lining construction company based in Rochdale and are looking for a full time, Office Administrator to carry out reception duties, general office admin and purchasing.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Your main roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Answering and redirecting telephone calls to the office and site based staff
  • Meet and greet visitors
  • General typing (letters, quotations, invoices etc…), photocopying, scanning and filing
  • Setting up enquiries and downloading documentation onto our computer system
  • Post – incoming and outgoing
  • Placing orders with suppliers and checking order confirmations
  • Maintaining Excel records with all prices
  • Chasing deliveries as required
  • Liaising with staff to arrange material deliveries
  • Managing the equipment hire list
  • Ordering and maintaining adequate levels of stationery and PPE

Training

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Essential qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade Grade 4/C or above) essential
