We are looking for an enthusiastic and eager individual to join our new setting as a nursery practitioner. We are looking to build a family of staff, who all work together as a team and will grow with the Nursery. You will be Creating fun and educational activities for the children under our care

Main Duties to Include:
- Keeping a record of the children’s progress to share with parents and other carers
- Building and maintaining relationships with parents and other carers to facilitate the daily learning and care of the children
- Working in a team with other staff members
- Creating an environment that meets the needs of the children by considering their cultural and medical needs
- Advising the Nursery Manager about concerns relating to a child or parent while respecting confidentiality requirements
- Adhering to the nursery’s policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements relating to childcare
- Maintaining high standards for safety, cleanliness and hygiene
Hours:
Monday to Friday, between 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, shifts are to be confirmed.
Salary:
£13,312 per annum
Training:
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard
Apprenticeship learning takes place in the workplace. All candidates will partake in training as other staff members do. This will be through Noodle Now, DFE and Dingleys.
Progression:
Once qualified, progression will be offered to the correct candidate. This could be a full-time position.
Qualifications:
GCSE Maths and English at a Grade C/4 and above are essential.
Important Things to Consider:
Staff should be keen to take children outside in different weather. An enhanced DBS check is required.
