Cosy Toes Nursery is looking for a Child Care Apprentice to join their Nursery team. This exciting role will help you to plan and provide a wide range of activities in their nursery setting including play, education, and care activities. You will be supporting staff with daily routines and learning the skills of a professional nursery nurse.

Main Duties to Include:
- Work as part of a team
- Learn how to provide high-quality care and education to our children.
- Demonstrate commitment to achieving your Apprenticeship
- Work closely with your assessor
- Understanding the importance of health and Safety in your role
- Demonstrate a proactive approach and use your initiative when tasks have been given to you
- Promote diversity and equality
- Learn to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Contribute to and complete children's observations
- Complete any mandatory that’s required
Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade C/4 and above) desirable
Hours:
Monday to Friday, between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, shifts are to be confirmed.
Training:
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard
Apprenticeship learning to take place in the workplace.
Progression:
Once qualified, progression is offered to the correct candidate. This could be a full-time role or completing the Level 3 Early Years Standard.
