You will learn the key skills required to ensure quality throughout the business and fully drive towards achieving the company’s ethos of the right first time on time every time. Working within the company’s quality department you will be tasked with ensuring compliance to customer and regulatory requirements.

Main Duties to Include:
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings
- How to measure and test manufactured parts to ensure compliance with drawing/order criteria
- How to carry out problem-solving (8D and RCCA)
- How to carry out internal quality audits
- Understanding quality standard ISO 9001
- Recording and capturing training of staff
- Recording and demonstrating KPI’s
Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7:45 – 18:00 Or Monday to Thursday 8:00- 17:00 Friday 8:00-13:00 Dependant on section
Pay:
£12,979.20 a year
Pay is subject to age and qualifications
Training:
- Level 3 Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship Standard
- Apprenticeship learning is to take place in the workplace and onsite at Rochdale Training, day release is to be discussed with the employer.
Progression:
Once qualified, progression is offered to the correct candidate, this could be a full-time position opportunity including further education qualifications and the opportunity to progress within the company.
Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade C / 4 and above) essential
