NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing

Course Overview

Whether you are new to the Plumbing industry or an experienced, time served Plumber, Rochdale Training has the approval and staff in place to support and assess you should you be looking to gain qualifications, specifically your Plumbing NVQ at level 2.

Who is this course aimed at?

This course is for anyone who has completed their compulsory school education. People already working in the industry are also welcome to apply.
To achieve a Plumbing NVQ you will need to be assessed by collating a portfolio of Plumbing work evidence that demonstrates your competence against the performance requirements. An assessor determines whether you have reached the required level to be awarded a Plumbing NVQ.

Modules:

• System Installation
• Design and installation theories of hot and cold water systems, sanitary systems and central heating systems.
• Commission and Decommission Systems
• Sheet Weathering Systems
• Fabrication, installation and checking sheet lead weathering system components and maintain sheet lead weathering systems
• Maintenance and Efficiency of Systems
• Maintain and repair hot and cold water systems, sanitary systems and central heating systems.
• Health and safety at work
• Quality Development of Service
• Customer service skills

The NVQ level 2 plumbing course takes around two years to complete. Successful completion of this course allows you to progress to the Level 3 in Plumbing.
